New Jersey Small Claims Courts
In New Jersey, small claim cases are heard in the Small Claims Division of the Superior Court Tax Court. These cases are for less than $3,000. The Special Civil Part also hears cases between $3,000 and $15,000, as set out in N.J.Statute 2B, Sect. 13-14.
