Domestic Violence Organizations

If you or someone in your household has been the victim of domestic violence, you should seek out immediate help as well as long-term support. A number of sexual assault and domestic violence organizations across the country are dedicated to stopping abuse by spreading awareness and helping survivors. You also may want to get acquainted with the domestic violence laws and procedures of your state.

American Bar Association Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence

Addresses domestic violence and sexual assault from a legal perspective. Its mission is to increase access to justice for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking by engaging lawyers.

Battered Women's Justice Project

Futures Without Violence

Aims to advance the health, stability, education, and security of women, men, girls, and boys worldwide.
