State Forms

Victims of domestic violence have many resources to turn to for help. One way to protect themselves from further abuse is to file a protective order. A protective order will protect a victim by allowing him or her to call police to arrest the abuser. However, before a victim may obtain a protective order, he or she must file certain paperwork with state court.
