The issue in this matter is whether it is in the public interest to place Petitioner, Lance William Young, on the State of Florida convicted vendor list maintained by Respondent, Department of Management Services. § 287.133, Fla. Stat.


PRELIMINARY STATEMENT


On February 27, 2015, Respondent filed the Petition for Formal Administrative Hearing with the Division of Administrative Hearings. Respondent requested the assignment of an Administrative Law Judge to conduct a proceeding to determine whether Petitioner should be placed on the convicted vendor list.

A Consent Order was filed by Respondent with the request for assignment of an Administrative Law Judge.

The parties have indicated that they request a Final Order be entered adopting the Consent Order.

ORDER


Therefore, based on the Consent Order and stipulations contained therein, it is ORDERED:

  1. The Division of Administrative Hearings has Final Order authority when a person petitions for a formal hearing regarding Respondent's intent to place that person on the convicted vendors list. § 287.0133(3)(e), Fla. Stat.

  2. The Consent Order resolving this matter is accepted, adopted, and incorporated by reference in this Final Order.

    § 287.0133(3)(e)2.f., Fla. Stat.


  3. The file of the Division of Administrative Hearings is closed.
