The DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION, DIVISION OF HOTELS AND
RESTAURANTS, (‘Petitioner’). files this Administrative Complaint against SCOTCH CORNER.
(‘Respondent’). and says:
4 Petitioner is the state agency charged with regulating the operation of public lodging establishments and
public food service astablishments, pursuant to Section 20.165 and Chapter 509, Florida Statutes.
3, Respondent is, and has been at all times material herato, licensed by or subject to the jurisdiction of ihe

3 Inspection of this establishment conducted pursuant to Sec, 509.032, Florida Statutes, revealed violations
of the provisions of Chapter 509, Florida Statutes, ang / or the rules promulgated thereto governing
operation of the establishment. The violation(s) found and applicable law are described in Exhibit "A."
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Inspection documents are attached as Exhibit “B’.

WHEREFORE. Petitioner respectfully requests entry of an Order imposing ane or more of the following
penalties: administrative fine not to exceed $1,000 per offense, mandatory attendance al Respondent's

THERE WAS A GREASE BUILD-UP ON THE HOOD FILTERS.

ACCESSIBLE AT ALL TIMES FOR EMPLOYEE USE.
THE HANDWASH SINK WAS NOT ACCESSIBLE FOR EMPLOYEE USE. IT WAS BLOCKED AND COULD
NOT BE SEEN. .
3. 32-17 5-801.17 FC TOILET ROOM RECEPTACLE, COVERED. A TOILET ROOM USED BY
FEMALES SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A COVERED RECEPTACLE FOR SANITARY NAPKINS.
THERE WAS NO COVERED RECEPTACLE IN THE WOMENS BATHROOM.
4.36-03 6-501.12 FC CLEANING. FREQUENCY AND RESTRICTIONS. (A) THE PHYSICAL
FACILITIES SHALL BE CLEANED AS OFTEN AS NECESSARY TO KEEP THEM CLEAN. (B) CLEANING
SHALL BE DONE DURING PERIODS WHEN THE LEAST AMOUNT OF FOOD |S EXPOSED SUCH AS
AFTER CLOSING. THIS REQUIREMENT DOES NOT APPLY TO CLEANING THAT |S NECESSARY DUE

THERE WERE UNNECESSARY ITEMS ON THE PREMISES STORED UNDER THE HOOD
