C07-110 MICHAEL ANTHONY DIPPLE Respondent / COMES NOW, the Petitioner, Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board, hereinafter referred to as "Petitioner," and files this Administrative Complaint against MICHAEL ANTHONY DIPPLE, hereinafter referred to as "Respondent," and alleges: 1. Petitioner seeks to suspend, revoke or take other disciplinary action against the Respondent as licensee and against his license to practice contracting pursuant to Chapter 75- 489, Laws of Florida, as amended. 2. Respondent is a Residential Contractor having been issued license I-CRC1326848 (CRC1326848). Respondent's last known address is 1424 Lotus Path, Clearwater, FL 33756. 3. At all times material Respondent was the qualifying contractor for Michael's Complete Remodeling, Inc. COUNT ONE 4, On or about February 22, 2006, Respondent contracted with homeowner Joseph Lassen to build a room addition at 3028 Brookfield Drive, Largo, FL 33771 for $76,350.00. Homeowners have paid Respondent $68,000.00 to date! 5. Investigation found Respondent obtained permit 2006060205 on June 23, 2006. Permit is active but work is not complete and there are outstanding tags for code deficiencies. 6. Respondent committed financial mismanagement or misconduct in the practice of contracting that caused financial harm to.a customer in violation of Section 489.126 (2) & (4), Florida Statutes; Section 489.129 (1)(g), Florida Statutes; and Section 24(2)(h), Chapter 75- 489, Laws of Florida, as amended. COUNT THREE 9. Paragraphs 1 through 8 restated as if in full. 10. Respondent committed fraud or deceit or gross negligence, incompetency, or misconduct in the practice of contracting in violation of Section 489.129 (1)(m), Florida Statutes, and Section 24 (2)(m), Chapter 75-489, Laws of Florida, as amended. Based.on the foregoing, Respondent violated Section 489.126 (2) & (4), Florida Statutes; Section 489.129 (1)(g)(j)(m), Florida Statutes; and Section 24(2)(d)(h)(j)(k)(m), Chapter 75- 489, Laws of Florida, as amended.
