COMES NOW, the Petitioner, Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board, hereinafter
referred to as “Petitioner,".and files this Administrative Complaint against GUY LAWSON
GANNAWAY, hereinafter referred to as "Respondent,” and alleges:
1. Petitioner seeks to suspend, revoke or take other disciplinary action against the
Respondent as licensee and against his license to practice contracting pursuant to Chapter 75-
489, Laws of Florida, as amended.
2. Respondent is a General Contractor having been issued license I-CGC 1508012
(CGC1508012), Respondent's last known address is 3047 Glenwood Court, Safety Harbor, FL
34695. :
3. At all times material Respondent was the qualifying contractor for Gannaway Builders,
Inc. Subseauentlv. Respondent closed Gannawav Builders. Inc. and now qualifies GSA
Contractina. Inc.
COUNT ONE
4. On or about July 24, 2008, Respondent as the prime contractor, sub-contracted with
Steve's Window & Doors, Inc. for installation of windows at Shore Club, 1885 Shore Drive,
South Pasadena, FL 33707.
5. Respondent received funds to pay for supplies and services but failed to pay Steve's
Window & Door, Inc. for said installation.

6. On or about August 10, 2009, a Judgment against Gannaway Builders, Inc. in favor of
Steve's Window & Door, Inc. in the amount of $250,061.92 plus interest was approved by the
Court.
7. Failure to satisfy within a reasonable time, the terms of a civil judgment obtained against
the licensee, or the business organization qualified by the licensee, relating to the practice of
the licensee's profession is a violation of Section 489.129 (1)(q), Florida Statutes; and Section
24 (2)(m), Chapter 75-489, Laws of Florida, as amended.
COUNT TWO
8. Paragraph 1 through 7 restated as if in full.
9. Respondent committed fraud or deceit or gross negligence, incompetency, or
misconduct in the practice of contracting In violation of Section 489.129 (1)(m), Florida
Statutes, and Section 24 (2)(m), Chapter 75-489, Laws of Florida, as amended.
Based on the foregoing, Respondent violated Section 489.129 (1)(m)(q), Florida Statutes;
and Section 24 (2)(d)(j)(m), Chapter 75-489, Laws of Florida, as amended.
