FINAL ORDER
THIS CAUSE came before THE SCHOOL BOARD OF POLK COUNTY, FLORJDA
("Board';) pursuant to Sections 120.569 and 120.57(3), Florida Statutes on October 12, 2021, in Bartow, Polk County, Florida, for the purpose of considering the Recommended Order of Administrative Law Judge J. Bruce Culpepper of the Division of Administrative Hearings dated
September 17, 2021 in Case Number 21-1708B10 ("Recon'unended Order"), a copy·of which is
attached hereto to this Final Order as Exhibit " A".
Pursuant to the Uniform Rules of Procedure, copies of the Recommended Order, which notified all parties of the right to submit written exceptions within 10 days pursuant to Section 120.57(3)(e) of the Florida Statutes, were electronically furnished to the attorneys of record for the hearing, to Superintendent of Schools Frederick Heid, and to the General Counsel of the Florida Department of Education. No party filed exceptions to the Recommended Order with the Board

and the time for doing so has expired as of the date of this Final Order.

The Findings of Fact set forth in the Recommended Order are approved, adopted and incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein.
There is competent substantial evidence to support the Findings of Fact as set forth in the Recommended Order.
CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
The Board has jurisdiction of this matter pursuant to Sections 120.569 and 120.57(3) of the Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 6320.

DISPOSITION
Based on the foregoing, it is hereby ORDERED as follows:
