STIPULATION TO EXTEND PLAINTIFF'S TIME TO FILE RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT'S RENEWED MOTION TO STAY DISCOVERY PENDING RESOLUTION OF DISPOSITIVE MOTIONS

(First Request)

Plaintiff Kathleen Bliss ("Plaintiff") and Defendant CoreCivic, Inc. ("CoreCivic"), through counsel, stipulate pursuant to LR IA 6-1 and LR 7-1 to extend Plaintiff's deadline to respond to Defendant's Renewed Motion to Stay Discovery Pending Resolution of Dispositive Motions (ECF No. 60) ("the Motion" or "Defendant's Motion"). Defendant filed the Motion on January 25, 2019. The deadline for Plaintiff's response, without this extension, is February 8, 2019. The parties stipulate for Plaintiff's response deadline to be extended to February 15, 2019. This is the first stipulation for the extension of Plaintiff's deadline to respond to Defendant's Motion.

There exists good cause to approve the parties' stipulation and extend Plaintiff's response deadline. Plaintiff's response to Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment (ECF No. 59) is already due on February 15, 2019. Plaintiff's response to Defendant's Motion will necessarily have to consider Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment, as well, so it is sensible for both responses to be filed on the same day.

As such, Plaintiff respectfully requests, and the parties stipulate, that Plaintiff's deadline to respond to Defendant's Motion be extended to February 15, 2019.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
