STIPULATION AND ORDER CONTINUING STATUS CONFERENCE
JOHN A. MENDEZ, District Judge.
Plaintiff Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians (hereinafter "Tribe") and defendant Cesar Caballero hereby stipulate and agree as follows, and respectfully request that the Court approve and give effect to their stipulation:
WHEREAS, a status conference is currently set for May 3, 2016, at 1:30 p.m.;
WHEREAS, Mr. Caballero is in the process of retaining counsel to represent him in this action;
WHEREAS, Mr. Caballero's new counsel will require additional time to acquaint himself with this case file to prepare for the status conference; and
WHEREAS, the parties intend to meet and confer to prepare a joint status report regarding further proceedings in this case.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED AND AGREED among the parties that:
1. The status conference currently set for May 3, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., be continued to June 14, 2016, at 1:30 p.m, or to a date thereafter convenient for the court.
2. The parties will file a joint status report no later than June 7, 2016.
