STIPULATION AND ORDER TO CONTINUE SCHEDULING CONFERENCE

IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED by and between Plaintiff OSCAR FLORES and Defendants GUSTAVO MENDOZA RAMOS, individually and dba MUEBLERIA Y BOUTIQUE TERESITA aka JOYERIA & BOUTIQUE TERESITA and TERESA ORTIZ MENDOZA, individually and dba MUEBLERIA Y BOUTIQUE TERESITA aka JOYERIA & BOUTIQUE TERESITA ("Defendants"), by and through their respective counsel:

1. The Scheduling Conference currently scheduled for December 17, 2015, be vacated and moved to January 14, 2016, or to a date that is convenient for the court.

2. There is good cause for this short continuation because the parties are in the process of settlement discussions and are very close to trying to resolving this matter but would like to keep costs and attorney fees down so this matter has the best chance of settling.

3. For the same reasons, pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 6(a) and Local Rule 144(a), Defendants may have to and including January 8, 2016 to file a responsive pleading in this matter.

ORDER

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

1. The December 17, 2015 Status Conference Re: Consent to Magistrate Judge Jurisdiction is vacated and rescheduled to January 15, 2016, at 10:30 am, in Courtroom #6 before Magistrate Judge Michael J. Seng.

2. Defendants may have to and including January 8, 2016, to file a responsive pleading in this matter.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
