Sheridan, Respondent, / wo ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLAINT a SR ME DAINT The Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, files this Administrative Complaint against the Respondent, Raymond Lb. Sheridan. The Commission seeks to impose disciplinary action upon the referenced individual based on the following allegations: 1, Respondent was certified by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission on May 21, 1982, and was issued tay Enforcement Certificate Number 31741, 2. {a) On or about September 25, 2000, the Respondent, Raymond L. Sheridan, did unlawfully enter or remain in a certain dwelling or structure, to-wit: residence, located at or in the vicinity of 3018 W. Helen Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33611, the property of Brenda Sheridan, as Owner or custodian thereof, with the intent to commit an offense therein, to-wit: battery. {b) On er about September 25, 2000, the Respondent, Raymond L. (c) On or about September 25, 2000, the Respondent, Raymond L. Sheridan, did unlawfully commit a battery upon Guillermo Rodriquez, by actually touching or striking Guillermo Rodriquez or intentionally causing bodily harm to Guillermo Rodriquez against hig will. (da) On or about September 25, 2000, the Respondent, Raymond L. Sheridan, did unlawfully, willfully and maliciously injure or damage any real or personal property belonging to Brenda Sheridan by damaging the front door of her residence, causing damage in an amount not excoeding $1000. (e) On or about September 25, 2000, the Respondent, Raymond L, Sheridan, did unlawfully, willfully and maliciously injure or damage any real or personal property belonging to Guillermo Rodriquez by putting a dent in his car door, causing damage in an amount not exceeding $1000, 3. The actions of the Respondent did violate the provisions of Section 78¢.011 and/or 784.03 and/or 806.13(1)(b} and/or 810.02 or any lesser included offenses, Section 943.1395(6) and/or (7), Florida Statutes, and/or Rule 11B-27.0012 (4) (a) and/or (b), Florida Administrative Code, in that Respondent has failed to maintain the qualifications established in Section 943.1317), Florida Statutes, which require that a Law Enforcement officer in the State of Florida have good moral character. 4. This Administrative Complaint is issued pursuant toe Sections 126.60, and 943.1395(6) and/or (7), Florida Statutes. Sheridan is guilty of violating Sections 943.1395(6) and/or (7), and/or 943.13(7), Florida Statutes, and/or Rule 118-27,0011(4) (a) and/or (b), Florida Administrative Code. NOW, THEREFORE, the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission hereby complains against Raymond L. Sheridan and alleges that an appropriate penalty, as Provided in Section $43,1395(6) and/or (7), Florida Statutes, should be imposed for the reasons set forth above and in accordance with the Election of Rights form (to which is attached an Explanation of Rights form) attached hereto and incorporated herein.
