Phar Petitioner, Nes Ve vs. , CASE NO. 23723 Larry Chesteen, _ L Respondent, 0 & . > 30 o> P : / ~ ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLAINT The Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, files this Administrative Complaint against the Respondent, Larry Chesteen. The Commission seeks to impose disciplinary action upon the referenced individual based on the following allegations: L Respondent was certified by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission on June 30, 1995, and was issued Correctional Probation Certificate Number 153225. , . 2 On or about August 22, 2003, the Respondent, Larry Chesteen, did knowingly or willfully commit abuse on J.C., a child under the age of sighteen, to-wit: striking, hitting with a belt and pushing the child’s head underwater, and in the course of the abuse intentionally inflicted physical or mental injury on said child. 3. The actions, of the Respondent did violate the provisions of- Section 827,03(2) or any lesser included offenses, Section 943.1395(6) and/or (7), Florida Statutes, and/or Rule 11B-27,0011(4)a, Florida Administrative Code, in that Respondent has failed to maintain ‘the qualifications established in Section 943, 13(7), Florida Statutes, which require that a Correctional Probation Officer in the State of Florida have good moral character. ; 4 . This Administrative Complaint is issued pursuant to Sections 120.60, and 943.1395(6) and/or (7), Florida Statutes. Any proceedings concerning this Complaint shall be conducted pursuant to Sections 120.569 and Sf) re) 3. 120.57, Florida Statutes, and Rules 11B-27, 28-106, and 28-107, Florida Administrative Code. Mediation is not available under Section 120.573, Florida Statutes. - ; , WHEREFORE, it is alleged that the Respondent, Lamy Chesteen is guilty of violating Sections 943.1395(6) and/or (7), and/or 943.13(7), Florida Statutes, and/or Rule 11B-27.0011(4)a, Florida Administrative Code.
