Petitioner is the state agency charged with regulating the practice of architecture pursuant to Section 20.165, Florida Statutes, and Chapters 455 and 481, Florida Statutes. 2. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation has jurisdiction over the unlicensed practice architecture pursuant to Section 455.228(1), and Section 481.223(1)(a), Florida Statutes. | | 3. Rl spondent’s last known address is PO Box 4195, Ormond Beach, FL 32175. 4. 4 all times material hereto, Respondent Richard Brookfield Architect, P.A., was not duly registered or certified to engage in the practice of architecture pursuant to Chapter 481, Florida Statutes. 5. ‘Respondent Richard Brookfield Architect, P.A is offering architectural services in a title block for a project known as The Highlander Corp., located in Ormond Beach, Florida. 6. Respondent Richard Brookfield Architect, P.A is offering architectural services on a web site. 7. ‘Respondent Richard Brookfield Architect, P.A does not have a certificate of authorization and therefore cannot offer or provide architectural services. 8. Section 481.219(2), Florida Statutes, requires a certificate of authorization for a corporation, partnership, or fictitious name offering architectural services. 9. Based upon the foregoing, the Respondent Richard Brookfield Architect, P.A., has violated Section 481.219(2), Florida Statutes, by offering architectural services without a certificate of authorization.
