PRESTANDRA / COMES NOW, the Petitioner, Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board, hereinafter referred to as “Petitioner,” and files this Administrative Complaint against JOHN A. PRESTANDRA, hereinafter referred to as "Respondent," and alleges: 1. Petitioner seeks to suspend, revoke or take other disciplinary action against the Respondent as licensee and against his license to practice contracting pursuant to Chapter 75- 489, Laws of Florida, as amended. 2. Respondent is a General Contractor having been issued license I-CGC010151 (CGC010151). Respondent's last known address of record is 3017 Bonaventure Circle, Apt 203, Palm Harbor, FL 34684. 3. At all times material Respondent was the qualifying contractor for Windows Doors Etc. COUNT ONE 4. On or about May 12, 2008, Respondent contracted with Dorothy Harmison to supply and install impact windows at 3455 — 99" Place n, Pinellas Park, FL for $16,511.00. Respondent obtained permit 2008-2435 on July 14, 2008, completed the installation, was paid in full, but installation failed inspection. 5. Respondent committed misconduct in the practice of contracting in violation of Section 489.129 (1)(m), Florida Statutes, and Section 24 (2)(m), Chapter 75-489, Laws of Florida, as amended. Based on the foregoing, Respondent violated Section 105, Florida Building Code 2004 - Building; Section 489.129 (1)(m)(o), Florida Statutes and Section 24(2)(d)(j)(m)(n), Chapter 75- 489, Laws of Florida, as amended.
