Williams, Respondent. / ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLAINT The Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, files this Administrative Complaint against the Respondent, Gregory L. Williams. The Commission seeks to impose disciplinary action upon the referenced individual based on the following allegations: 1. Respondent was certified by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission on April 18, 1994, and was issued Correctional Probation Certificate Number 143229. 2. (a) On or between June 18, 2007 through September 18, 2008, the Respondent, Gregory L. Williams, did, as an officer or employee of the Department of Corrections, unlawfully receive, directly or indirectly, from a prisoner or from anyone on behalf of a prisoner, any gift, reward, or any compensation whatsoever for services or supplies other than that prescribed or authorized by law or the Department of Corrections. (13 cts) _(b) On or between August 30, 2008 through September 1, 2008, the Respondent, Gregory L. Williams, did unlawfully solicit, accept, or agree to accept a benefit, to wit: accept a $525.00 gift card to a department store and two night hotel accommodations in Orlando, totaling $357.76, with the intent to violate a statutory or common-law duty to which the respondent is subject as an officer. (2 cts) (c) On or. October 15, 2008, the Respondent, Gr -L. Williams, did unlawfully © make a false statement, which he or she did not believe to be true, under oath administered by Conan ~~ - Davidson, in: i i i i , inspector, in an official proceeding, to wit: sworn interview, in regard to a material matter. 3. The actions of the Respondent did violate the provisions of Section 944.37 838.015(2cts), 837-02 or any lesser included offenses, Section 943.1395(7), Florida Statutes and Rule 11Be F woe 1B-27.0011(4)(a)(b) Florida Administrative Code, in that Respondent has failed to maintain the qualifications established in Section 943.13(7), Florida Statutes, which require that a Correctional Probation officer in the State of Florida have good moral character. 4. This Administrative Complaint is issued pursuant to Sections 120.60 and 943.1395(7), Florid: i lorida Statutes and Rule 11B-27.004(4), Florida Administrative Code.
