FINAL ORDER


THIS CAUSE came before the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (Commission) on a Petition for a fom1al administrative hearing (Petition) filed by Freda Parsley (Petitioner or Parsley). The Petition challenged the Commission's determination that Petitioner was responsible for a vessel deemed derelict and abandoned.

STATEMENT OF TH"E ISSUE


WHEREAS Parsley received notification from the Commission in March 2020 that she was responsible for a vessel deemed derelict and abandoned and of the Commission's intent to destroy that derelict vessel. Petitioner disputed that the vessel was hers.

The matter was referred to the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) on April 2020. The Commission staff received additional information that the Petitioner was not the party responsible for the vessel.

CONCLUSIONS OF LAW


Upon review of the record, the Commission makes the following legal conclusion:


As Executive Director of the Commission or his designee, the undersigned has jurisdiction over this subject matter and authority to enter a final order pursuant to Rule 68-
