NOT DESIGNATED FOR PUBLICATION
CHUTZ, J.
Plaintiffs-appellants, James Armes, Terry Brown, Henry Burns, Brett Geyman, Johnny Guinn, J. Lance Harris, Joe Harrison, Kenny Havard, Bob Hensgens, Cameron Henry, Paul Hollis, Barry Ivey, Sam Jones, Rogers Pope, Dee Richard, John Schroder, and Lanar Whitney (collectively, Concerned Citizens of Louisiana), filed this lawsuit, seeking to suspend implementation and enforcement of certain educational standards, frequently referred to as "Common Core," averring that defendants-appellees, Louisiana Department of Education, its superintendent John White, and the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE), failed to adhere to requirements of law.1 Defendants filed a peremptory exception raising the objection of prescription that the trial court sustained. A judgment dismissing the claims of Concerned Citizens of Louisiana on the basis of prescription was signed by the trial court. Concerned Citizens of Louisiana devolutively appealed.
On February 24, 2016, Concerned Citizens of Louisiana filed a motion in this court, seeking dismissal of its devolutive appeal. Our review of the record shows no outstanding claims for entitlement to review. Accordingly, we grant the motion and dismiss the devolutive appeal of Concerned Citizens of Louisiana. Appeal costs are assessed against James Armes, Terry Brown, Henry Burns, Brett Geyman, Johnny Guinn, J. Lance Harris, Joe Harrison, Kenny Havard, Bob Hensgens, Cameron Henry, Paul Hollis, Barry Ivey, Sam Jones, Rogers Pope, Dee Richard, John Schroder, and Lanar Whitney.
MOTION GRANTED; APPEAL DISMISSED.
FootNotes
1. Concerned Citizens of Louisiana specifically claimed that the adoption of the Common Core educational standards was in direct violation of the Louisiana Administrative Procedure Act. See La. R.S. 49:953, providing a procedure for an agency's adoption of rules.
