On November 20, 2019, the City identified Defendant Officer Washington as Corrections Officer Kimwahn Washington, Shield No. 10227. ECF No. 17. Accordingly, Plaintiff is hereby ORDERED to file an amended complaint to properly name Corrections Officer Washington. Plaintiff shall file the amended complaint no later than December 18, 2019, by mailing it to the Pro Se Intake Unit, 40 Centre Street, Room 105, New York, NY 10007. The amended complaint will replace, not supplement, the original complaint. An Amended Civil Rights Complaint form that Plaintiff should complete is attached to this Order.
The New York City Law Department is directed to notify the New York City Department of Correction of this Order. The Court requests that Corrections Officer Washington waive service of summons.
The Clerk of Court is directed to mail a copy of this Order to Plaintiff.
