This attorney tells you everything you want to hear and makes A LOT of promises at the consultation. She is expensive to hire. She went through a $3,500 retainer in a few months. I saw her twice, filed my case and had one hearing. She was quick to send a letter for another $3500 before I could go to the required mediation and said she would have to withdraw if I couldn't pay. I spent more time talking to her assistant(s) than I did her. She can't seem to keep staff around too long so you better hope you get one that knows something about a divorce.

I hired this attorney to handle my alimony/child support case. I do not recommend this attorney. She was very knowledgeable. But, in the end I was billed drastically way over what I was quoted at my initial consult. In the beginning I was required to pay a small retainer. But I kept having to pay frequently additional retainer above what I was quoted or told the attorney would drop my case. It seemed the case dragged on way longer than it should have and that I was being billed for times when nothing was going on for my case. I would not use this attorney in the future. I was awarded attorney fees by the judge but what the judge deemed reasonable attorney fees was very much less than what I was billed by this attorney. Therefore my ex-husband only had to repay me what was deemed reasonable fees by the judge and I had to pay the large excess amount of attorney fees overbilled by this attorney myself. I had to put those excess attorney fees on charge cards that I have been trying to pay off for several years now.
