Among the best...

I consulted with Amy Beller. While researching very complicated homestead / probate issues, I found cases and articles about cases with amazing legal strategies. Many were about Amy. I contacted her and retained her on a consultant basis for pre-existing litigation. On a side note, I've retained many attorneys over the years. Some among the best in the state, some who have since ended up in jail for malpractice and fraud. So, I have a good perspective on what a good and bad attorney is. :) It is unquestionable that Amy Beller is among the best lawyers in this state. She is able to understand very complex legal matters quickly and effectively develop legal strategies. I would not want to be against her in a legal matter, that is for sure...

Excellent litigator for estate matters

I am an attorney in New York handling commercial and real estate litigation so I know a good litigator when I see one in action. Amy Beller represented me and my daughter in litigation involving my mother's estate to enforce an agreement signed by my sister which she had repudiated. Amy was well versed in the applicable law, knew the court proceedings, was effective in dealing with the judge and obtained a good result. I would recommend her to anyone and have already recommended her to other NY lawyers.

Ethical, trustworthy, approachable, and so easy to work with.

I was involved with Amy in a 5-year estate litigation (which we won and also won the Appeal). She was required to work with another lawyer whom we hired. This situation could have been catastrophic. Instead it became a collaboration of two talented litigators using both their strengths to win a very complex case. Amy really cares about her work and her client. At this point in time, I regard her as an old friend. I highly recommend her.

Review of Amy Beller as my lawyer

Amy Beller was recommended to me by our trust attorney to respond to litigation being brought against me by co-successor trustees of our trust after my husband was declared incapacitated. Her singular work in answer to a very aggressive team of lawyers resulted in the matter being settled without a court case. She has remained as my trusted counselor as continuing issues arise with regard to the trust. She and her able assistant have performed services for me over and above what could normally be expected in a lawyer-client relationshsip. Her fees have been very reasonable especially compared to those charged by the larger firm working in teams of two or three. Amy is definitely recommended by me for anyone needing her particular expertise with regard to trust matters.
