I came to know Ms. Fanzlaw through my membership in the American Inns of Court, a group of attorneys, judges, and law students seeking to promote professionalism, ethics and legal skills. Ms. Fanzlaw was a member and became President of the local chapter and as I result I was able to observe and appreciate her leadership skills and work ethic. Under Amy's guidance, the Craig S. Barnard chapter was one of only 22 chapters across the country to achieve "Platinum" level of the Model of Excellence Award with the Circle of Excellence Award, of many hundreds of local Inns across the country. Ms. Fanzlaw is a "genuine" person, she speaks what she means and means what she says, which goes a long way to being an excellent attorney, particularly in her area of expertise which is in "elder" law, where the decisions made are particularly crucial and confidence in the knowledge, skills and intentions of the attorney are all the more important.
