watch your back because he wont

i was referred to him by another attorney, (what a mistake)!!! he came in when i had lost my original attorney because the ex was court ordered to pay attorneys fees and never paid so i needed someone that was willing to step in. This attorney proposed that a SIGN a paPER allowing him to put a lien on my home for 50k until he obtained the court enforcing the attorneys fee award. Well he appeared at one hearing and entered in to an agreement after the hearing that was the opposite of the agreement in the hearing. He agreed to entry of a restraining order by my ex against me for which i had a permanent restraining order against my ex for real physical abuse not fear of. i was never afforded a hearing on the issue and did not have knowledge until i received the final order. his excuse was oh i thought it was the one that already existed. now i have not seen my children in years thanks to this and today i received an email stating that since i have not paid the bill for the one hearing of disaster i owe him almost 24k or he will foreclose on my home. he claims he has a mortgage against my home!!!
i have never heard of such nor do i think it sounds legal to threaten the client i am going to the florida bar now!

RUN!!!!!! DO NOT walk AWAY from this Attorney!

Perhaps it was the fact that I retained Mr. Levine very late in my divorce proceedings that kept him from representing me correctly (or at all for that matter), or perhaps it was the fact that I was not as wealthy as most of his other clients ... no matter the reasons ... he single-handedly persuaded me to sign a Final Judgment of Divorce which is not worth the paper it is written on! From the moment he took my case, I was always an "afterthought" to him. He did not dive in a process various (an quite obvious) motions that would have greatly helped my overall outcome. I reminded him multiple times that the final agreement he wanted me to sign was not accurate --- that my salary was way off, etc. He said, and I quote, "Don't worry about it right now. Just sign the thing and then file a little motion to change it later. It's simple." Taking his years of experience into consideration, signing is what I did. Now, the "simple" little motion to change the things that were incorrect from the start, has been going on unresolved for nearly two years and has cost an additional $27K in attorneys fees! At the date of this review, it remains still unsolved!!!!!! If I could sue this man, I would. He is horrendous!!!!!!
