Wish we would have found Cindy Vova earlier!
Prior to working with Cindy Vova's office I had another lawyer for a simple step-parent adoption case. After a year of working with the other lawyer, she told me she could no longer manage my case. My husband and I began scrambling looking for a new family lawyer in the area that would hopefully be able to get the job done soon before the signed consent from the other parent expired.
After meeting with 3 lawyers in the area,Cindy Vova's office blew us away. They did their homework before our meeting, which showed us they were about business, so we signed our retainer agreement at our initial consultation. Within 6 weeks of signing our agreement, we had our final hearing and were able to FINALLY have closure on our step-parent adoption case.
Some of the things that really stood out about Cindy Vova's office versus others we have interacted with include transparency about cost/billable hours, professionalism, and attention to detail. Overall, the office was very helpful and got the job done, which is what we were looking for. I wish we would this office earlier to avoid the wasted time and money with our initial lawyer.
