First off, I did not hire Claire to be my attorney. I hired an attorney at her firm and very shortly after hiring him, he left that firm. So, I got transferred over to Claire and her boss. Claire really disappointed me. She didn't know important details of the case and wanted to fight with me all the time. Finally, I told her she needed to correspond with me in writing so I had everything and could refer back to it. Then one day she talked me into taking her call and said it would just take one minute, then she started another big fight. It was unbelievable and unprofessional. I know this wasn't originally her case, but to behave in this manner was/is highly unprofessional. Furthermore, it constantly felt like she was on the other side. They simply weren't all in on this case and it showed. The other side used the scorched earth method and we were always on the defensive. A few things I suggested helped the case, but when it came down to it, they didn't even want to litigate it when we had a winning case. The firm took my case and dug me into a big hole. It's unbelievable. I would not recommend this firm or this attorney. I am traumatized by this experience.
