There are few experiences more trying and stressful than the emotional trauma and strain often associated with a disputed family matter. When a family is breaking up I believe the legal representatives involved should be mindful of not only the legal faction but also if the heartbreak and uprooting of what was once intended to be a lifeling commitment. Although litigation is often a necessity, it is not always the best answer in the long run.
