I have a active lawsuit, basically I am being sued for debt owned to amscot but the problem is when I took over the business, the old owner wrote a check to someone and basically the person cashed the check but the old owner’s business account bounced. Therefor I am being sued for that but it’s not my check that I wrote to that person but they are accusing of me when it’s the old business owner?
