I have practiced law for more than 20 years now and truly enjoy helping my clients, especially in the Elder Law area because I value our elderly citizens and find they are a wonderful combination of wisdom and humor. It is a challenge to provide for their health needs, to protect their assets and counsel their family members to avoid needless litigation. I also am president of a Medicare licensed home health agency and take great pride in the level of care we provide our patients.
I have been married to my wife, whom I met in Colombia, South America, for 23 years; we have 2 sons. I enjoy travel, reading, fishing, music, dining and involvement with my church. Also, I have been actively involved with the Rotary Club of Miami, having served as the club's president 2012-2013. Rotary International does so many amazing things all over the world in so many ways that it is heart-warming to help others in a world so filled with pain and suffering
My approach to practicing law is simple: treat others how I want to be treated. My staff and I continually try to practice this approach and have been fairly successful at it over the years.

I received a post-doctorate in Elder Law from Stetson Law School and have been developing the areas in Elder Law to assist senior clients to obtain funding for medical care and to protect their assets.
I also received a post-doctorate in Real Property Development and do all aspects of real estate, both residential and commerical, including obtaining financing and defending foreclosure cases.
Have filed many Chapter 7 cases for clients to assist them is obtainging them a fresh start and in many cases save their primary residence.
Chapter 13 is primarily used to restructure a client's debt and to save their house and to pay a fraction of the unsecured debt (credit cards) that they owe.
This has become an increasingly important part of my practice to assist client to distribute their assets as they wish upon their death.
This is another important subset of Elder Law to assist the guardian to protect the ward and conserve the assets available for the medical care of the ward.
Another vital component of Elder Law.
There are many types of trusts that can be tailor-made for a client's situation to protect and preserve that client's assets.
This area has exploded with the severe recession we are in and many clients require assistance in saving their homes and other properites.
This has become an increasingly important part of my practice to assist client to distribute their assets as they wish upon their death.
