Extremely satisfied clients

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with David to help us navigate through the worst time in our lives. We were involved in the real estate industry as investors for many years in NE Florida and SE Georgia, simultaneous to that we had jobs and other business interests. Our situation was complex and time consuming, David was referred to us as a expert that could provide solutions. Our experience was he and his staff took time to understand our needs and guided us through the process, the entire experience is not 'fun" or cheap. You get what you pay for, we believe when we hired David that we had the best person to help us get our sanity back. After 4 years David still picks up the phone and responds to emails, when I ask for clarification. I would strongly suggest he and his team be considered as a law firm that can bring clarity and closure to bad situations.

Highly recommended

I was stuck between a divorce and a financial crisis. David had me in for a consultation and assured me everything would be okay. He went to court for me and everything was smooth sailing from the consult to the discharge. Couldn't be more pleased.

Saved my life
I went to David for help in my financial situation and he and his staff went above and beyond to get my case filed and closed quickly. His reassurance that he would take care of me made me feel very secure in my choice. Thank you for your professionalism and putting my mind at ease. Highly recommended.

One of the Good Ones
I've now worked with several different attorneys, and few if any were as skilled, helpful, attentive and honest as David Pinkston. His help with my mother's unfortunate bankruptcy was truly invaluable. He's one of the good ones.

Greedy
We received no service after we paid for our chapter 7. The only time he met with us was when we paid him or he was pitching another costly service. It took us a year to save up for the chapter 7! We sat in the lobby to sign the 25 page bankruptcy papers with the receptionist, who is worthless. Some other lackey sat with us at the trustee meeting. David would get back to us by email with short noncommittal answers but no real information until he wanted more money to get rid of our 2nd mortgage. He was 99.1 % sure it could be eliminated. After borrowing $2500 and paying him we waited two months for Pinkston to tell us the Supreme Court eliminated that option. The previous week he told us the paperwork was on the judge's desk, but the Supreme Court ruled 3 weeks before, so he lied. Then he wants more money to file chapter 13!

Doesn't help at all just wants money
Terrible lawyer. Filed bankruptcy (chapter 13) with him and as soon as he gets your money (second visit, first is free) he will no longer speak to you! He won't return calls and on the rare occasion he does, he is very bothered by your call. You will mostly deal with the front desk lady who doesn't know much at all and she says she talks to him but I honestly think she is useless. I sought new legal advice and was paying 7,500 for a chapter 13 and told I was paying WAY too much. At the end of the process there are a bunch of hidden fees. If you read his contract he makes you sign carefully- you will see he makes it so you can't back out once you make the first payment. So if you pay him $500 and decide you don't like how he is its "too bad so sad". Basically what I thought I was getting was a great lawyer who would help me through the confusing bankruptcy process and what I got was a selfish man who only wants your money and could care less about your questions or concerns. He is terrible!

I would never use David Pinkston again for anything.
Went through a divorce and like many, felt the only way out of was to file a bankruptcy. Aaron (his paralegal) is very knowledgeable and very honest. If I would have spoken to her (yes it is a her despite the spelling) I would never have filed. With the new laws that were implemented, most people have to file a chapter 13 and the minimum is 36 months. I was told by David that I would very likely only have to pay $200ish and be between 8-10 months since I was going to lose my house and my car (very little credit card debt). Reality.... $675 at 60 months. Well since I was going to lose it all and get foreclosed anyway, why would I be so foolish as to go for this? Bottom line, choose anyone else in my opinion. There is a reason his client review on Martindale hubble is terrible at 2.5 out of 5! Bottom line... worst $3000 I have ever spent.

He would never return phone calls or answer any questions once he got our money and did the filing of our bankruptcy. We had to find most of the answers to our questions through other people or the courts. Other lawyers that I guess worked for him showed up in court with us. Lawyers we had never met and were surprised to see as we were expecting Mr. Pinkston to be in court with us, not someone just walking up to us and saying I'm your lawyer, or met someone when our name was called by the judge.

I rent space from this lawyer, although we are not affiliated in any way. He has chosen to limit his practice to chapter 13 work. Several times a year a case of his will convert to chapter 7 and I am appointed the trustee. His schedules and attention to detail are above average.

Mr. Pinkston relies too much on his staff to represent his clients and focuses primarily on marketing and retaining clients.
