I have practiced law for over twenty years in New York and now in Florida. My favorite moments in my professional life are when I am able to cut through the legal fog for a client, and show them how they can save surprising amounts of money, anxiety and trouble by following a particular path. While I am a natural counselor and advisor who would rather come alongside someone and work with them, I have also been a litigator for most of my twenty plus years of practice, and my clients often value that fierce advocate part of my personality.
One of the most rewarding areas of my practice currently is helping clients prepare themselves for some of life’s greatest challenges; laying down plans for protecting and providing for their families in the event they become incapacitated or pass away. I do estate planning because it is something that everyone needs, not just wealthy older people, but also young people and families who are just starting out. With my office, estate planning is not just about drafting a will, but is more about controlling your property while you are still alive; providing for yourself and your loved ones if you become disabled; and when you die, giving what you have to whom you want, when you want, how you want, while saving every penny possible in taxes, attorney’s fees and costs.
I am a native of Brooklyn, New York and am licensed to practice law in New York and Florida. I live in Land O Lakes, Florida with my wife and son, and we have two grown children. I am active in my local church, am a former foster father, and serve on the board of directors for a local foster care home for up to 28 children. My favorite thing to do outside of the office is fishing or watching superhero movies with my boy.
