Professional Attorney - Recommend Hiring

I hired Attorney Torres with the intention of having a collaborative divorce experience. Unfortunately, opposing counsel did not share the same goals. Attorney Torres handled my case (what I would consider a difficult one) with true professionalism. Throughout the process, Attorney Torres proved her experience, knowledge, preparation, attention to detail, and ability to keep her client's best interest in mind.

Attorney Genevieve Houle-Torres

Who should have presented a defense for me? The Lawyer, Genevieve Houle-Torres, whom I hired for representation, re-paid me with seemingly a lack of confidence, competence, and due diligence, who seemed to conspire with and identify with the Opposing Counsel and his client. So, I made the difficult decision to report her behaviors to The Florida Bar. Amid many other atrocities, she agreed without my consent that I would pay half of a medical expense that was out-of-network. Attorney Torres didn’t draw the line and say ‘Enough is enough’ anywhere for me. The opposing team stomped us! Requesting no proof of truthfulness- no documentation - from the Opposing Counsel seems to have been okay with Attorney Torres, since the Opposing Counsel presented none, and she asked for none. It was a hellacious ride, 1 year of arbitration and 45 minutes of Court Hearing. So, I would not recommend Attorney Genevieve Houle-Torres to anyone

Family First Law Group

I hired Ms. Torres to represent me in my divorce case. She proved to be the perfect hire for me. Never having gone through anything like this before, naturally I had lots of questions and concerns. She took the necessary time to explain each step in the process. She was very organized and looked out for my best interest. Her legal assistant Kyrsten was always very polite and pleasent as well as knowledgeable. If I called her with a question she couldn't answer she would make a point to get the answer and call me right back. They were always just a phone call or email away. Ms Torres and her staff made this painful process as pleasent as it could possibly be.

You won't go wrong

Genevieve handled my divorce, she was kind and sympathetic, but was tough when she had to be...I drove her crazy w questions and emails and she was always responsive and could calm me down in order to focus instead of being angry and always told me she would handle it...and she did..she made a horrible situation easy to deal with by explaining everything and giving me the best way to handle the situation.I have sent several people to her and they also used her services...and they to were happy..you will not regret hiring Genevieve..and I would like to say Thanks your the best!

Best lawyer ever

Ms. Torres is the most supportive lawyer I ever known .Her knowledge and passion for her work and the support and help to me where unique ,the only lawyer that took our case in a Friday afternoon, and we call some lawyers .But she was the only one that work with us through the weekend and answer every call we made and every question with knowledge and support. I don't like lawyers, but Ms. Torres made realize that she cares and she support you and work with you until the end . For us Ms. Torres is the best Family lawyer in Tampa bay.

Couldn't imagine anyone else!

During one of the most difficult times in my life, Attorney Torres made the whole process seamless. Her knowledge and compassion helped make the process effortless and manageable. She helped keep me "grounded" and was patient enough to help me understand it all and what led me to a wonderful outcome. She is not only trustworthy, but accommodating and reliable and so any other things you might not find in any other of the like. Divorce is difficult enough, so fortunately going through it with her by my side and only thinking of my well-being for myself and my children was an absolute advantage!

Really efficient and friendly attorney

I was able to contact my attorney at anytime. She worked with me through all of my problems with my divorce. I did not have to worry about a thing. She was on top of everything needed to make my divorce very easy.
