I had an unusual discrimination case against a global corporation. After interviewing several firms, large and small, I chose Jim Thompson of Thompson Legal Center. My case started in 2010 with wrongful termination and ADA discrimination. After several years of going through the slow wheels of justice of the EEOC then again with The Department of Labor, I was finally given a Right to Sue. Though I was emotionally spent from the years of taking on big business and the government's slow process, I was not going to hand over five years of my work to any attorney for them to now mess it up. So I had to choose very carefully who would take this case to its final destination. That would prove to be Jim Thompson. Jim's thoroughness, attention to detail and personal interest in the case allowed me to finally take a backseat and allow someone else to carry the torch of truth. All in all, if I had to do it all again there are a few things I would have done differently. I would have hired Jim sooner and I would have trusted him from the start.
