The issue in this matter is whether the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office properly dismissed Respondent from her employment as a deputy sheriff.The Sheriff's Office proved the Sheriff had "cause" to dismiss Respondent based on her violation of its rules and regulations. The Sheriff's Office further proved the discipline imposed was consistent with prior actions. The dismissal should be sustained.
