Confidence

The Cape Coral Historical Society/Museum needed counseling on an employee matter immediately in less than 24 hours Jason gave us the answers we needed. More than Excellent

I was a client of Jason Gunter and his firm in an employment law case involving a combination of contracts, unpaid wages, and a non-compete. I trusted him completely with my case.

Jason represented me against my former employer who decided to bully me and potentially financially ruin me. He was very knowledgeable of both my employer, their past behaviors and how to battle them in federal court without costing me a lot of money. Non compete n Nonpiracy Contract

Jason was very informative. He seemed to have broad knowledge on the topic of non compete contracts. What I liked most about Jason is that he gave a summary of his impressions regarding the contract then listened to my concerns. We discussed and moved forward from there. Later he even gave some advise to my husband. My overall experience with Jason was great. I would recommend him to others with like issues.

Labor & Employment Law

I am a retired lawyer and an inactive CalBar member. I contacted Mr. Gunter, acting as a business consultant for a small business, regarding a lawsuit against that business within his specialty of employment and labor law. The issues were wrongful termination and Wage-Hour Law violations. I cannot recommend Mr. Gunter highly enough. The results were very favorable. Mr. Gunter exhibits excellent knowledge of the applicable law and procedures. In response to client questions, Mr. Gunter and his staff were always very timely in providing clear answers, and always kept the client current on litigation matters. He is aggressive, but seemingly always being mindful of costs to the client, a very important consideration when hiring any professional. I would not hesitate to go back to Mr. Gunter should another labor/employment law issue arise, or to refer another to him. I have, over my career, interacted with dozens and dozens of attorneys in all different kind of specialties and would put Mr. Gunter in the very top 10%, at the very least.

Respect from a retired federal judge

In trying to assist a close friend and neighbor with medical leave issues from her place of employment it was obvious that, although I have spent 30 years as a federal judge, I was far out of my area of expertise. I contacted Jason based on a recommendation from a local area judge and asked if he would be willing to consult and assist Specifics aside, he was immediately responsive and provided the type of ethical legal guidance that one hopes to find in an attorney. Having had thousands of attorneys practice before me in my time on the bench I have become adept at spotting competence.
