Competent, Confident, and Honest

Family law is a very emotional and contentious process and for some has become very lucrative. So, it was nice to find an attorney who was honest. I needed help in changing my custody agreement and Joe laid out all my options in a manner that put me at ease and helped walk me through all the potential outcomes for my case. He was blunt when I needed to hear it and was critical of my best way forward. I'm a military guy and I like it when people just tell me like it is. Displaying the wisdom of a very seasoned professional, he took time and care with my case ensuring I had good representation. He was focused on the goal and outcome that I wanted to get out of this process. Everything about this process in family law is gut-wrenching, soul-sucking, filled with emotion that you never know which direction the wind will blow and Joe stayed calm and confident through this whole process. For my military brethren, Joe is honest and will tell it to you like it is without any legalese jargon which only serves to make an already stressful moment even more stressful. Joe is the kind of attorney who will work his hardest for you, even the most minor details are things he doesn't overlook. Professional and responsive

I hired the Zisser law firm to handle my recent divorce which was somewhat complicated and challenging. Joe Alvarez was my attorney and he did an excellent job handling all the pieces of this divorce including properties, companies, and complications dealing with a difficult /somewhat hostile ex husband. Joe was the third lawyer I consulted with and I retained him because he immediately began action on my case with a winner’s attitude. I consider myself a moderate person and wanted fairness overall. My ex called him aggressive, but I saw him fight for my rights and was extremely pleased that he could counter her appalling, unfair, and unrealistic advances on my divorce case. Joseph is top notch, very well respected and works for the top law group in Jacksonville. He consistency outmatches his competition in the process. Most lawyers can't provide the daily communication as he does. He's meant a lot to me over the years and has always saw the bright side of things. Dealing with a very hatred ex-wife is extremely difficult with raising a child. He has the knowledge, experience, and guidance. He is very fair with cost as well. He's a true value as well!
