Assist clients with strategies to avoid impoverishment when long-term nursing care is needed. Provide advice and application assistance for Medicaid benefits and Veterans benefits. Assist clients to coordinate both types of benefits. Draft necessary documents like powers of attorney, irrevocable trusts, Medicaid Gifting Trust, QIT, etc. Help clients plan for the possibility of disability, including drafting documents like power of attorney, living wills, advance directives.
Assist clients with planning that allows them to pass assets to heirs most effectively, minimizing unnecessary costs, hassles and applicable taxes. Advise families of special needs children to plan so that their loved one can continue to receive maximum public benefits. Draft documents like revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, special needs trust, wills, etc.
Assist families with the many legal and administrative steps required when a loved one passes away. We treat each client with the sensitivity we would want for ourselves at this time. We provide estate administration (probate) services as well as help with trust administration.
