First Phone Call

This attorney was highly rated by many people in my profession. When I called to make an appointment, I was told that I could not see him but I could see his son. Then I was sent a "survey" asking very personal information such as the names of the companies with which I have IRAs, etc and the amount of money in those accounts. I just wanted a consultation to review my paperwork. I chose to cancel my appointment and choose another attorney.

Great Firm

Mr. Karp is the most organized person I know. He worked on our finances for planning in case of death. He is extremely knowledgeable about finances and could make recommendations. The staff worked well with him, and explained everything so we could understand all aspects of what we were doing and why it was the best route to go. The firm is continually monitoring finances and will help us should anything change or in case of a death. I highly recommend Mr. Karp and his law Firm!!

Excellent attorney

Me. Karp is knowledgeable and a professional in every sense of the word. He assisted my aunt in writing her will, and health care wishes when she moved to Florida from out of state. He guided her as if she was a lifelong friend even though he only met with her a few times.

Estate Planning Documents

Attorney Karp did a thorough review of my past estate planning documents, including the titling of my deed. He made a complete revision of both. The documents he prepared are very detail oriented and comprehensive. I was extremely pleased with the final product.

Excellent Counsel With Long Term Medicaid Entitlement!

Both my elderly mother and aunt were running short on funds and unable to continue paying for senior living services on their own towards the end of 2016. We had heard that Mr. Karp and his staff were particularly adept at helping clients navigate the labyrinth-like process of filing for long term nursing home Medicaid, so we contacted his office for assistance. As far as my husband and I are concerned, the money we paid Mr. Karp and his staff for their services was one of the best investments we ever made! Other than our having to submit all the necessary Medicaid eligibility documentation to Attorney Karp's office, his staff did everything concerning completion of the application and dealing directly with Florida DCF. Both my mother and aunt were ultimately approved for nursing home/long term Medicaid entitlement, thanks to the efforts of Mr. Karp and his hardworking staff!

Nice Experience

I first met with Joe Karp about 10 years ago to create a Family Trust for the benefit of my father in law and did some Medicaid planning in anticipation of my father in law's future needs. My father in law was 87 at the time. Fast forward 10 years, my father in law was recently transferred to a nursing home and shortly after he was admitted we applied for Medicaid for him. Within a month he was approved. The process for applying could have been a paperwork nightmare but with the help of his expert staff it was as simple a process as possible. This took what could have been a financial as well as a paperwork nightmare and became a smart decision that we made 10 years ago with Joe's expert guidance.

Very Helpful

My mother and I needed some guidance regarding a legal matter that was not related to the trust the firm had prepared. They were very helpful and informative. They explained the issues and my options and gave me some recommendations for lawyers that could handle our case. I really feel like they care about their clients and have our best interests foremost on their minds. The entire staff has been so nice. Norma Cruz has been my point guard throughout all of this. She was always cheerful and did not make me feel like a bother. She was very friendly and accommodating. Thanks.
