Get the best
Being in my early 60's I really didn't want to file bankruptcy, because of the thought I probably wouldn't have credit the rest of my life. But, I just couldn't see my way off the sinking ship, so I contacted Kathryn to see what my options were. Bankruptcy was pretty much my only option to ever see daylight, so we jumped into it together. She told me I would have to work hard at this, but she'd seen worse cases and thought one day my credit would be back. I followed all her advice, working on all the classes she offered. That was 4 yrs ago, and last September I wanted to move from an apartment complex that was charging me a fortune, so I looked into buying a home. I hadn't applied for any credit cards, just a used car which I got, but I never asked anyone what my credit score was. When I applied for a home loan - HOLY MOSES - they told me it was 702, and I was eligible for up to $180K in a home loan. Of course, I'm not spending any $180K, I learned my lesson well, but wow, I was actually eligible for that amount, and only 4 yrs after my bankruptcy. So I did buy a house and I pay $400 less per month on the mortgage than I would've been paying for my rental. It was a no brainer in my mind. When I filed for the loan I needed to show the mortgage company all the bankruptcy papers, and sure enough I called the office and they emailed everything to me. I can't tell anyone enough to just listen to Kathryn and follow her steps - and you can do it too. Her and her staff are the pros on the block. Don't settle for second best. She's truly second to none.
