Excellent attorney

Ms. Davis represented me in a difficult divorce. My situation was complicated because my husband runs his own business, but Ms. Davis was with me every step of the way. She was always well prepared and knowledgeable. She and her staff were available to speak with me whenever I had questions. Susan was especially helpful. I was happy with with the outcome for myself and my 2 boys. While it is difficult to go through a divorce, Ms. Davis and her team were always there to protect me with getting a fair financial outcome. My children still have a good relationship with their dad and I am happy about that. I highly recommend The Women's Law Group and Ms. Davis.

Competent, ethical, meticulous, compassionate attorney

Ms. Davis is extremely knowledgeable and ethical, and she and her office staff are quick to respond to any questions or issues surrounding a divorce and child custody. I feel she went far above and beyond what most attorney's would do for their client. She is very organized and listened to everything regarding my case. I would hire her again, as a divorce is never easy, and mine has been extremely complicated with domestic violence- she prepared me for potential outcomes with my situation. Exceptional experience with Mrs. Davis

Highly recommend this firm and Lara

I highly recommend Lara and The Women's Law Group. Lara represented me in a Collaborative Divorce. At first I did not think collaborative would work for me because my husband and I were not really speaking. She explained that there was a neutral person to help us. We have two children, who are 6 and 8, so I didn't want to be his enemy. I am so relieved we were able to work things out and not fight each other. Lara did a really great job. She was always available to talk, was always well prepared, and looked out for my future and my children. I am very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Lara and her firm.

Very caring and well prepared

I hired Lara to represent me in my divorce and custody case. At the first consultation, she took a lot of time to explain all the details of what to expect. She answered all of my questions. During the divorce process, Lara was always available to speak with me to go over what was happening. She was very respectful with the other lawyer and the judge, and came to court very prepared with her research ready to go. Professional, compassionate and methodical

I've been a client of Mrs. Davis' on and off again since 2011 and I'm currently utilizing her services again. I've had a very difficult, complex, ongoing issues throughout the years and Mrs. Davis has been the only person to help resolve anything. She was methodical in all our petitions, mediation and court hearings and always honest about worst and best case scenarios, never misleading. She works to try and keep costs down and really listens and reacts appropriately to your concerns and acts as an advocate for your child. I've recommended her services to several friends and acquaintances that have had similar, positive experiences. Mrs. Davis and her partner have been interviewed by local media for expert opinions on changes in family law and high profile family cases. Don't look any further if you are the mature, responsible party in your situation, honestly just trying to have the most amicable separation as possible and do what's best for your child or children. Mrs. Davis is the person to help you accomplish that. Remember, most reviews on the internet, especially in family cases are written by other parties who aren't actual clients and are often times the party who didn't get what he or she wanted and clearly because they act in more irresponsible manners, ie; writing negative reviews online about people involved.

Honest and compassionate.

I hired Lara for what I thought was a simple uncontested divorce and child custody settlement. My case ended up becoming complicated due to multiple issues and challenges with the opposing party. While the case took longer to close than expected, Lara and her staff worked diligently to get things wrapped up quickly and kept me well informed as to why there were so many delays. I never felt that she purposely delayed the case to increase her billable hours. I was not billed for scheduling difficulties between her and opposing counsel. I would highly recommend Lara and her group for complicated child support and divorce cases!

Dragged out my case to increase her fees

I have hired this attorney earlier in the year. A simple case of a uncontested dissolution of marriage has taken months and months I have hired this attorney earlier in the year. A simple case of a uncontested dissolution of marriage has taken months and months to even receive a court date. A simple case that should be wrapped up from beginning to end in a couple of months takes a half a year and counting. Everything is run through her paralegal. Paperwork and communications take between the client and opposing attorneys or individuals takes a substantially long time. Unfornutely, since this attorney has a very difficult time managing her time she charges you for it. She will advise you strongly to go against your gut feeling and makes a divorce worse all to keep increasing her fees, and her fees are substantial. I wonder is this fraudulent? Is this unethical? No matter what your thoughts are I would stay clear. There are plenty of other attorneys that will have high fees but will close your case sooner!!
