I had the pleasure of hiring Lauren, her assistant Krista and her staff for what would be the best represented 2 year portion of my 6 1/2 years of being in and out of family court. I have worked with several other attorneys prior to her that were solely focused on billing and perpetuating the hostility between opposing parties. Not once did I feel that her motivation was for increasing her billable hours. I honestly felt that Lauren was an advocate for my child and had at moments kept me from loosing sight of the real and pertinent issues pertaining to my case. Her strategy was incremental and focused on the best outcome for my daughter and ultimately we were able to mediate between parties (which no other attorney prior was able to do) and without having to go through a lengthy trial. I hired Mrs. Kingry believing that she would help me from losing my child to her abusive father. She represented me right up until she received my last payment and then withdrew from my case and the upcoming final hearing. I went into court fighting for my childs well being and had to represent myself. And I lost everything due to not having an attorney. I would not recommend her or her firm. When we did go into hearing she seemed to be very nervous while his attorney lied and she never fought back.

I hired Lauren after a friend recommended her. I was requesting payment from my ex for money that he owed me from my original divorce. It should have been cut and dry. She was so incompetent I not only never had my day in court as she “ didn’t see” or “didn’t get” the other attorneys motions for discovery and when we finally got time in front of the judge we were not prepared. I had all the documents they wanted ready from the original divorce but Lauren never asked for them. Please don’t use her as a lawyer. She seems very nice but is truly in over her head.

This is a true review. Please feel free to contact me for details and evidence. I was too far into my case before I realized what was actually going on. Lauren was late to hearings, refused my calls, told lies, was disorganised, she purposefully withheld important information about my case from me, she is very deceitful and full of both personal and professional drama. Lauren notified me just weeks before what she said was a final hearing and demanded an additional $4500 to represent me. I found it VERY STRANGE that she agreed to half the cost and didnt pro ess all of my payments before the hearing date. But it wasnt long before things became clear. When we showed up to court, the hearing was for a motion she filed on my behalf 6 months prior. She openly admitted in court (bit was lying) not to know what was going on and thus asked only 2 questions to witnesses for the father in a 3.5 hour hearing. As a direct result, I lost some of my parental rights. Lauren had her staff tell every lie in the book as to why she could not speak to me after the hearing for over 3 weeks, which caused me to miss the 10 day appeals window. This further perpetuated the downward spiral of my case. Thereafter, personal information that I only shared with Lauren bith verbally and in emails has surfaced during the rest of my case. In my opinion, lawyer, Lauren Kingry's performance in my case most certainly seemed as though she accepted payment from my son's father.

My husband and I came to Lauren Kingry for adoption services through her agency, Love Adoption Life. We live in Texas and had been with another adoption agency (in Texas) for over two (2) years and were beginning to lose hope. Lauren came highly recommended so we took a leap of faith and couldn't be more relieved that we did. She and her staff (Kristin, Krista, and Jamie) were extremely professional and handled all matters in a very timely fashion. They were always prepared and extremely diligent in filing all paperwork immediately. But, beyond their professionalism lies the true jewel of Lauren Kingry’s office…their heart. After years of frustration, which included a failed match, our hopes were truly dwindling and we feared we would never adopt a baby. Lauren and her exceptional staff renewed our hope and made our dream come true…we now have a beautiful daughter!! I cannot express enough how much we appreciate all that Lauren and her staff have done for us. They truly care about all parties involved, which we have found over the years to be a rare commodity. They form solid relationships with their expectant mothers and adoptive families alike. We have not only gained friendships with them, but feel as though they are now more like extended family! I would absolutely refer anyone in ANY state to use Lauren Kingry for their adoption needs!! I think you will find, as we have, that she and her staff will forever have a special place in your heart!

Lauren took the time to make sure she was clear on what we wanted to change in a difficult custody issue with a minor child. Her and her staff made my daughter comfortable and at ease in a tense situation. Our family is very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Lauren to friends or family that needed a attorney.

This experience was a complete waste of time and money. The only time I ever saw her was to give her money and the day in court. I only talked to her 3-4 times through email. She was unprepared for the case and when she lost acted like it was the right thing. Wish I would have just represented myself. I could have done just as well if not better and saved my money. Keep looking if your searching for valuable representation.

Lauren Kingry was hired to handle my case. Going through this process I hardly spoke to her. Matter of fact, From beginning to end I only seen her twice. When I did meet with her (Once before my case was being handled) She made me feel as if I had no options and almost like I needed to back out of my case, when it took the help of someone else to explain my options and tell me what can be done. I have learned that over all, Its all about money with her. She will take your money and take her time. I didn't feel like I was at all a priority to her or her company. Things that should of been handled within a certain amount of time weren't. I was missing paperwork I should have received along with the paperwork for the the other parties involved in my case. With that being said, we still haven't received any paperwork let alone a phone call of what's is going on with my case status (that should be closed already). When you get responses from her law firm (in a not so timely matter) it seems to never be her but instead her co worker. I just overall wouldn't recommend her law firm. If I had the chance to go back and use a different lawyer I would with out hesitation even if it ment no refund from Ms. Kingry.

I was referred to Lauren Kingry by a close friend that was pleased with her service. I too had a very positive experience. I can not say enough how friendly her staff is and how nicely I was treated. She demonstrated confidence with good legal advice and strong representation. She was fair, always available to answer my questions, as well as calm my concerns. Her genuine compassion for my legal matter were outstanding. She will go far and is truly an asset to her profession.
