Lynn Dannheisser is a land use and local government lawyer with nearly 35 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Lynn represents private clients before all local governments with a focus in urban redevelopment, complex land use matters and procurement. Her experience includes public-private partnerships, affordable and workforce housing, economic development incentives, green and sustainable development, transportation and other public infrastructure issues, land use due diligence for lenders and buyers and securing major entitlements and site plan approvals. For several local governments, Lynn has been involved in the drafting of some of the most progressive land development regulations in the state resulting and the implementation of economic redevelopment in urban areas. She is an adjunct professor of land use and zoning at St. Thomas School of Law.
Lynn has been the city attorney of the cities of Sunny Isles Beach, South Miami, Surfside and the Village of Pinecrest. She has been special incorporation, charter and charter review counsel for the Villages of Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Fisher Island, Doral, North Miami, Sunny Isles Beach and Tierre Verde, and was a member of the Charter Review Task Force for Miami-Dade County.Lynn works diligently with her clients to understand their goals and to help establish a strategy for achieving client objectives. She consistently provides sound judgment and advice enabling her clients to make informed decisions in a results-oriented, practical and cost-effective manner.
