We are criminal defense attorneys. We do not handle personal injury cases or family law cases or business disputes. We represent the accused. We have physical offices in Tampa, Florida and Orlando, Florida but we practice throughout the State of Florida, in every county, big or small. We also defend those in need of our help all throughout the country. We have a track record of success. We have won jury trials, motions to suppress, motions to dismiss, direct appeals and post-conviction motions. We have represented professional athletes, Olympic athletes, entertainment figures, doctors, lawyers, accountants, members of our country’s armed forces, South American cartel members and first time offenders.
Further, our cases have been profiled in major newspapers and television stations throughout the State of Florida and the United States of America, including The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Los Angeles Times, USA TODAY, The Miami Herald, The Tampa Tribune, The Tampa Bay Times, The Orlando Sentinel, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, FOX News, Bay News 9 and, believe it or not, even US Weekly and ESPN. One of our federal cases even made international news, after a successful sentencing was featured in the London newspaper The Daily Mail.
If you are represented by a court appointed attorney or another private attorney and you are now waiting to see what happens as your case moves forward in the system before you hire us, please consider what may happen if you do not hire us now. More often than not a person is sentenced much harsher than expected after a plea of guilty or after he is convicted at trial. Heavy or even maximum sentences are not uncommon in these circum- stances. So if you are unhappy or not satisfied with the representation you are currently receiving, call us today for a second opinion. We completely understand that finances often play a role in whether to hire an attorney or utilize the services of a court appointed attorney or even stay with the first attorney you hired. However, we assure you that we stand a much better chance of improving your situation if you call us the moment you are arrested or charged rather than if you wait until the damage is already done. All too often an appellant client starting day one of a long prison sentence laments the fact that he did not hire us the moment he was arrested. Further, we often then receive a collect call and/or letter from that very same newly imprisoned inmate asking us if things would have been different if he hired us the moment he was arrested. We believe the answer is yes. So please keep this advice in mind as you decide right now whether to hire us now or regret it later. It is not to say we cannot help you later (we have won many appeals and post-conviction motions) but why would you want to take that chance?
If you are currently represented by an attorney and desire a second opinion on how your current attorney is handling your case and/or you would like additional information about our qualifications and experience, we are permitted to visit you without notifying your current attorney pursuant to Professional Ethics of The Florida Bar Opinion 02-5 and Professional Ethics of The Florida Bar Opinion 4-1.1. This allows us to protect your privacy rights.
Thank you for your interest in our law firm. We truly appreciate it. Please note that our clients are more than just legal fees to us. Our clients are the very foundation of who we are and why we do what we do.
We look forward to fighting for you.
