The issue to be resolved in this proceeding concerns whether the Petitioner was harassed because of her race during employment as a registered nurse at Shands at Lakeshore, Inc. (Shands), and whether the Respondent terminated her because of race or for retaliation concerning alleged complaints of harassment.Petitioner failed to prove any racial discrimination or retaliation for her termination by her supervisor of same race, who fired her for poor performance. Other employees were similarly disciplined for similar conduct. No protected complaint ever made.
