I called Ms Horowitz seeking assistance with a difficult traffic ticket problem. You see, my son drives a probably-too-powerful car and has, shall we say, an ill-advised fondness for testing its limits. He'd just earned his third ticket in less than 18 months, and to make matters worse, he's under 25 y.o. He was in danger of losing his license and/or his insurance, and we needed serious help.
Ms. Horowitz was immediately responsive to our needs. She took my call straightaway and arranged to meet with us within days. I was more than impressed with her knowledge in the specific area of serious traffic violations. She explained in detail what we could expect of the process and what we could expect from her. She was confident she could help my son, yet at the same time she was frank about what we were up against. I wanted an attorney who would be straight with my son, an attorney who would not sugar-coat the situation simply to land the case. We hired her immediately.
Throughout the experience, Ms Horowitz kept us fully informed. She developed a strategy that demonstrated she clearly "knows her way around" the Broward traffic court system, and she executed that strategy - which, to me, creatively addressed my son's specific situation - and yes, she was successful in obtaining a very positive outcome. The result she attained for my son was actually MORE favorable than we'd dared to hope for! I attribute this to several factors:
1) Ms Horowitz's thorough preparation,
2) Her considerable ourtroom skills, and
3) Most particularly to the fact that she was consistently frank with us, preparing us for every possible outcome for my son's case.
We were, therefore, thrilled when she achieved a complete dismissal.
Not only that, her fee was beyond reasonable.
I absolutely recommend Melanie Horowitz.

Ms. Horowitz is so efficient and professional. She took time to talk with geico and get all the information to the DMV so I could get my license reinstated. It took me 2 years before finally deciding to hire her and she got it done in 2 weeks. You really couldn't ask for a better lawyer on your side. I had no idea what I was doing and she just walked me through everything and the whole time she kept me updated. She also uses your preferred method of communication to update. I am usually working or in class so she was perfectly fine texting me so I didn't have to stop what I was doing. She is absolutely amazing!!!! |

I don't normally get tickets. I was so thankful to be referred to the Law of Melanie E. Horowitz, P.A. I didn't have to go to court and everything was taking care of for me and I was kept informed. I was so stressed within myself to get a ticket. I work overnights and watch my baby girl during the day. I really don't have time in my day and I lack sleep most days. It was a relief to know I was in good hands. I didn't have to do anything. My burden was lifted and my case was dismissed. I am so thankful. I will refer to anyone I know that has a situation. A lawyer who truly cares Posted by Dan (From AVVO) I was referred to Melanie through prepaid legal service in 2010 for a traffic ticket, and have been a client of hers ever since. Melanie always takes time to explain the charges, possible defense options and outcomes, and allows time to consider my options and explain what happened.
