Excellent attorney. Great communication. Mr Winer is first and foremost a good and upstanding person, truly above reproach. (He doesn't know this part ) Before I came into his office in 2012, I had been to a couple of other attorneys and truthfully after looking at what work comp claimed my injury was (a hip strain...with radiating pain), I was quickly shown the door. I believe that Mr. Winer truly took a chance on me, and yes of course looked at the facts of the case, but I am convinced that he also believed me from the very beginning and for that I am forever grateful. Long story short, as it turns out I don't have a hip strain...I have a spinal cord injury; more specifically nerve damage to L2-L5 and the femoral nerves at the nerve roots. If ever there was a case of David vs Goliath, this was it. Mr. Winer and the employees of his office were fighting with and for me every step of the way for nearly 5 years against a City Government's self insured work comp, even when the odds were against us the majority of the time.
