Real Estate Dispute
I worked with Michelle for two and a half years on a property line dispute, a David and Goliath situation where I was David up against a large organization with very deep pockets. Michelle consistently showed the consummate professional's dedication, integrity and attention to detail. While I was never sure the verdict would be in our favor, I was always sure that Michelle would present our case flawlessly.
Her partner, Alan Hamisch, joined the case in its second half and helped move it to trial. When I read their proposed final judgement presented to the court, I could only think that, win-lose-or draw, this is brilliant. The judge agreed--we won hands down.
Watching Michelle and Alan work together reminded me of a favorite film, "A Few Good Men." Not because they are stand-ins for Demi Moore and Tom Cruise, but because they share the same kind of dedication to the law and passion for their work.
