The issue for determination is whether Respondent, the Orange County Convention Center, discriminated against Petitioner, Norman H. Siales, on the basis of a handicap within the meaning of Section 760.10, Florida Statutes (2004).Petitioner failed to prove that he was terminated from his job because of a disability. At the time of termination, Respondent did not know or consider him to be disabled or handicapped; he was terminated for violating the County`s absentee policy.
