Asselta Law was founded by attorney Richard Asselta. Mr. Asselta had the unique fortune to begin his career at a law firm that exclusively handled highly complex and technical federal criminal matters. For 20 years, Mr. Asselta has built on that experience. He combined his skills as a trial attorney and his knowledge gained from being the education law attorney for a school district to establish Asselta Law.
For nearly 10 years Mr. Asselta was the education lawyer for a large public-school district. Drawing from that unique experience, the firm specializes in education and school law. Asselta Law assists students of all ages with academic, disciplinary, and financial issues or disputes with public, private and charter schools, including K-12, college, graduate, doctoral, vocational and technical schools. The firm also handles appeals of student and teacher suspensions, student expulsions and academic and professional misconduct.
