Mr. Kaufman is the most reprehensible lawyer I have ever had the occasion to litigate against. In the one case I was involved in, he made multiple misrepresentations and unfounded character attacks against a judge, and a court appointed receiver who is a well respected member of the bar. He routinely files baseless pleadings and appeals, in order to delay proceedings and economically defeat opposing clients. I do not believe he should be practicing law, much less rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
