Tom is a partner at Matthews & Jones where he leads the firm's Litigation Practice Group.
Tom handles a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters (including contract disputes, unfair competition, and non-compete agreements), real estate litigation, and employment litigation. Tom has successfully represented clients in state, federal, and appellate courts. Tom’s practice includes jury and bench trials as well as mediations and arbitrations. Tom has also presented on the topic of “Beach Rights” in Florida.As part of his commitment to the community, Tom is serving a six-year term on the Florida Bar's First Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee.
Tom received a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the Florida State University Business Review and received awards for the highest grades in International Taxation and Business Entity Taxation. Tom received a B.S. from Virginia Tech in 2001.Tom is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, District of Columbia, Washington, and Alaska.
